Guest guest
I don't know about you guys, but I was told not to bite into apples as long as I had the hardware in my mouth. Cut up bits could be chewed with the molars, but as for taking a chunk out of a nice whole apple -- no go. I waited about a year before I got brave enough to take on things like raw carrots and broccoli. I could have done it sooner, I think, but I was timid about it. Cammie > > > > Hi! Guest guest
I was honestly afraid my front teeth might fall out if I bit into an apple (they do get a bit loose during treatment and seemed more so post-op). Nowadays, no problem. It was probably the thing I was most timid about. 8 weeks is nothing, really, in recovery for upper/lower. Give it more time. It really does take time, there's no shortcuts. Follow your ortho/surgeon's advice for exercises. > > > > > > Hi! I am 8 weeks post-op of upper/lower/cheekbone repair (NOT > > > implants, btw).
