Guest guest
Yep. Quit talking so much. My surgeon, after he took out the splint, at 7 weeks, and for months later, said, " You like to talk, a lot. Don't. " That isn't the advice of every doc, but it's what he told me, and I tried to follow it, best I could. Guest guest
Quit talking so much??? Did you take your doc's advice? Actually, when people ask me how I'm doing, I always tell them that the more I talk, the more swollen I get -- usually people go " Oh -- sorry " and walk away. I've used that a lot lately to get people out of my office! ;-) > > > > > > Hi all.. > > > > > > I had upper and lower on OCt 5th, and got my splint removed last > > > week, so I'm finally able to talk and sort of eat. > > > > > > However, I notice that the more I talk, the tighter my face > feels. > > > People tell me my right side of my face looks more swollen, and > it's > > > especially noticable in my right cheek. > > > > > > So, how much longer should I expect the swelling? Guest guest
I tried diligently, and I used a dry erase board at work. Sounds like a good trick, getting rid of the unwanted that way.
