Yep. Quit talking so much.

My surgeon, after he took out the splint, at 7 weeks, and for months

later, said, " You like to talk, a lot. Don't. "

That isn't the advice of every doc, but it's what he told me, and I

tried to follow it, best I could.

Did you take your doc's advice? Actually, when people ask me how I'm

doing, I always tell them that the more I talk, the more swollen I

get -- usually people go " Oh -- sorry " and walk away. I've used that

a lot lately to get people out of my office! ;-)

I tried diligently, and I used a dry erase board at work.

Sounds like a good trick, getting rid of the unwanted that way.
