Wow, congrats, Nathalie! I just got my braces on a month ago and am

supposed to spend two years in them, but my teeth sure are moving!

Your story gives me hope that it could be sooner. Luna

Thanks katie, I'm sure that your new treatment plan will work out

perfectly. I'll definately post pictures, I have not come around to

posting them (have them all on the computer from start to finish) and

I'll make sure that once the braces off, I'll post everything on site2.

Thanks! I think the SARPE contributed to my teeth moving quickly,

according to the ortho all that " young bone " really does the trick. I

hope you'll be out of them soon, but most importantly, that you get

the result you want (even if it means spending a little more time in

braces)!

I have an open bite and I also need an upper advancement. Does anyone know what

an advancement is like? My surgeon seemed very cool and calm about it as to not

to make me worry...he made it sound like the procedure is so simple and

easy...which I guess I liked because I'm so tired of telling people about this

and they look at me like it's going to be the worst thing ever. I'm 20 years

old so hopefully everything will turn out okay since I'm " young " but everyone is

different. I am not worried about the surgery at all, I have taken out my

wisdom teeth with that surgeon before and completely trust him, I am only

worried about healing, and how it'll be like to be numb and how long I should

expect it. I don't want to go to school feeling that way because I know how

sensitive I am to feelings (perhaps it's because I'm a poet) But I guess

feeling numb to everything will just help me with my art. Hahaha...see there is

a plus side to every negative side. :)

so you can see it from start to finish. Good luck with your surgery,

I'm sure it will all work out just fine! What kind of surgery will you

need?
