Guest guest
i now notice that my lower gums are showing also. i have been really looking at all photos in newspaper and mags and noticing how barely anyone's lower TEETH show let alone their gums! i think i had a slight case of this before surgery, but i think it is a little more pronounced now. i was so focused on my upper mile of gum that nothing else was standing out. i am going now into photo section ( " - off center chin " ) to see if you can see what i am talking about in the photos. > > I dont know if im the only one with this " problem " > since my surgery ive noticed that when i talk you can se the gums on > my lower jaw. its like the surgery or my braces has pushed my lower > teeth up or something.. > and my chin still looks flat when i try to close my mouth. i still > have lip strain. > has anyone got the same problem?? what to do about it? Guest guest
That one, I don't see. I do see some asymmetry, both before and after -- but I'm no pro, and don't take in most of my info to my feeble, aging brain through visual (at least pictorial) images. I don't see anything about your lower gums. But I may be -- and have been told, from time to time, that I am, loco. Try to relax a bit about all this. Talk with your docs about the troubles you see, but hey, anybody who looks diligently enough can find a flaw in the most beautiful gemstone. And I'm sure you're more beautiful than any of those! Guest guest
katie, I saw your pictures where you smile, and my smile looks the same as yours. does your lower teeth/gums show when you talk too? my lower teeth are visible all the time, when i talk and when i smile, and when i say words with " e " or " i " in them.. did you have genioplasty? or just upper and lower jaw surgery? you have a great chin and profile. mine's flat and i still cant close my mouth. im thinking about having genioplasty.
