Guest guest
Hi all! This site is a wealth of information, really glad I found it. I am doing some research for a friend of mine who had gastric bypass surgery about 1 week ago. She really seems to be doing great except for a few minor problems - I was hoping someone could answer a few questions for me. 1. She is only on a liqued diet for now (she is starving) lol - anyway, when she is able to eat do any of you have examples of things that will be easy on her tummy??? Maybe things she shouldn't eat? Any ideas.............. 2. She is having pain still in her stomach - we are assuming from the healing of the pouch. They have prescribed pain medicine - does anyone know how long the pain will last? The pain is fine as long as she is on the pain medicine. 3. How long after surgery does it take to start excerising? She is so worried about skin - but does not want to hurt herself. For now I think that will do it. Her doctor is extremely hard to get a hold off - thats why I am asking questions here! LOL Any help would be greatly appreciated.
