A question for 1 year or more vets about jaw function

Hi! I am 8 weeks post-op of upper/lower/cheekbone repair (NOT

implants, btw). I was wired w/ splint for 6 weeks.

How long did it take you to regain your jaw mobility? Did you regain

your original range of opening or close to it (I was able to open

over 46mm preop but I am at 25mm postop)? At what point were you able

to bite into an apple and eat it comfortably? Are you able to open

your mouth wide and stick your tongue way out? When were you able to

get a dental cleaning without pain of opening your mouth?

I am very concerned, as you can tell, with my jaw mobility!
