Guest guest
I'm certainly not a newcomer to the world of jaw surgery having had lower advancement and a genioplasty ten years ago. But due to the extreme severity of my chin recessiveness I'm having a second genioplasty in two weeks using what my surgeon calls a " sliding drawer " technique that allows safer large advancements and we will be doing about 10mm. Anyway, just wondering from anyone who has had a " stand alone " genioplasty that wasn't part of a jaw surgery, what the recovery is like, etc. Even though I had genio in my first surgery, I think it was totally overshadowed by the jaw surgery recovery.
