Guest guest
I hit the magic mark December 31 of this year. I think it is the best time of my life. I can enjoy gardening...golfing...rollar blading...hiking and working out at 55. Life without worries about what others think. A peace that comes from knowing my children are happily married. A wonderful peace and trust that my husband and I have in our marriage and our Lord. (Some of which only comes with growing older and wiser. Learning that always fighting for your right to be right is not necessary. I think it's also called " mellowing out " .) A great church and good friends. (The $4.00 senior rates at the shows are a nice perk and the AARP magazine ain't half bad. Ahhhh....the little things in life do matter!) Guest guest
In June I'll be 69 -- had surgery 2/02 when I was 67, down 107 lbs. Cannot exercise because of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I lose slowly, but I DO lose. This group is such a pleasure... Nina in Maine
