I took Prozac for 12 years and had a heart attack from it. We researched it and found that heart attack was one of the complications of long term usage of Prozac. Afterwards, I tried Welbutrin, but that didn't help me. I was " off the wall " for several months. After much research, I found that Celexa was the most heart-healthy drug for me. My psychiatrist agreed and I've been taking it for over a year and am happy with the results. If you need to find another drug, you should thoroughly do your research before taking one to find out what would be most suitable for you. Hopefully, you won't!
