Did pain in jaw get cured?

I currently have daily discomfort in the muscles on the left and

right side of my jaw. My orthodontist says it results from my jaw

(and bite) being off-center and that while these muscles would like

to work one way, my bad bite is working them another way and -

therefore - overworking them. I'm just wondering how many people out

there have gotten relief from overworked jaw muscles as a result of

this surgery? I'm only 26 and my ortho says it is rare for someone

my age to experience this jaw-muscle pain.
