Guest guest
good luck i wish you the best Soon to have Surgery Hello everybody my name is and I'm soon to have lower and upper jaw surgery too. I'm a little irritated because I've been on braces for 14 months now and my bite is worst than before, I have trouble eating and even speaking. My orthodontist told me that he was now preparing me to go see my surgeon soon He was just waiting for all the gaps on my teeth to close. They gaps are finally closed and I'm schedule to see him on the 1st of December I hope that he gives me the Okay to schedule an appointment with my surgeon and I can finally get a Surgery Date. So my question to you guys who have had surgery is how munch longer after your Dentist gave you the Okay to see your surgeon did it take to actually have surgery? Thanks for all the help, this is a great group and I'm glad that I found it.

Guest guest
, nobody but your docs can give you a realistic time frame. I hope it will help you to know that many people who have troublesome bites find that the troubles get worse before surgery, and a lot better afterward. The docs have to move the teeth into the prospective operative position for the surgeons to do their stuff. Not fun, but part of the process. Sorry for the troubles, but I hope the process will reward you for putting up with it all. C. > > Hello everybody my name is and I'm soon to have lower and upper > jaw surgery too. Guest guest
Hello, I had surgery four months after my orthodontist okayed the surgery. The reason is that I had to find another surgeon as the one who was going to do it hadn't done it in three years so I felt more comfortable with someone who did it more often. As soon as I found this new surgeon, I had surgery in six weeks. I think it depends a lot on the surgeons availability.
