I can't believe it has been 3 years since surgery...so many things

have changed in my life.

In the beginning (Surgery 4/7/00)

- weighed 262 with BMI of 47

- size 22/24

1 Years post-op (4/7/2001)

- weighed 154

- could get my leg up to tie my shoes

- could fit in any chair

- health improved

- could walk without being out of breath

- got to my lowest weight of 143 (-118 pounds) in Aug 2001

- size 8/10

- changed jobs

2 Years post-op (4/7/02)

- weighed 150

- gained 7 pounds from my lowest

- changed jobs

- size 8/10

3 Years post-op

- weigh 160

- gained up to 170 and have lost 10 of that in the last 2 weeks

- size 10/12

My weight loss has changed the way I feel about myself. I still have

my eating disorder but am getting much better at dealing with my

eating and changing my relationship with food, thanks to my on-line

groups (Dallasites, graduate list, off track list, and my surgeons

list). I've learned so much about vitamens, eating, exercising and

living again. I found out that I don't want to waste my life on jobs

I don't enjoy and if you look above you will see that I have changes

jobs a few times since surgery. I am more aware of the simple things

that make me happy....my family, friends, being able to enjoy life.

I have traveled more in the 3 years then the last 10 years....have

been to Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC,

land, California and various places around the state of Texas.

Even with the weight gain life is good and of course I am still

learning to eat right but think I am on the right track to getting

back down to my all time low weight.

Just wanted to thank all my WLS friends for being there on my journey.
