Guest guest
I think if you normally don't eat like that, it's just one of those days. OTOH, if you can normally eat that much or more, go have a upper GI. I'm one of those who felt nothing with the SLD, other than the ablity to eat much more than I should be able to at less than 6 months out. The transection fixed all that, until 3 1/2 years out, when I finally hit the 2-year wall. Hugs, in NJ open RNY 8/99 SLD transection 8/00 306/low 155, now 165/whatever ************************* > bigfatfred1 <fredfast1@h...> wrote:I > > This seems like a lot to me. Guest guest
Well, this is purely my opinion, but some of the food you ate,the fish and the toast, would be so mushy for me that they would almost slip right through.....the eggs and the broccoli are the only thing that would stay around for any length of time......in and of themselves they are not that much.....so maybe part of it was the " type " of foods and more importantly I think it was the time allotment. My doc said never eat for more than 20 minutes. I too could consume a lot of food in 40 minutes......it would almost be like a grazing thing for me!! Just a thought!!!!!!! P. Guest guest
50/50 from what I see. Some can just eat more, some just gain wt & don't feel like they eat more. But then 50% of us get acid, reflux, ulcer type pain. Personally, I could not eat substantially more, but then I kept my pouch well oiled with protein shakes. It helped cut the acid & kept me the heck away from food. I regained 12# in 4 months of insurance games. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I guess that I'm hitting the 2 year wall. Normally, I eat about 50% of that in a normal meal. I never really eat that much normally. If I keep it up, I'll call the surgeon... Thanks, F
