Guest guest
Hi ---i had my rny done open two weeks ago today. I am on my feet and feeling fine. The first 4 days I will admit were kind of rough. But never was it so bad that I thought I wish I hadnt done this. B=But I had it done on Monday---was home by 9am thursday morning and was out walking at walmart on saturday. I have a few other frustrations in that I have only lost 8 pounds and have no idea why---lost that all in the first week and nothig since---but i have faith that I will figure it out and my body will kick in. Good luck you---just wanted you to know that having it open was fine. No doubt that that it is probably more painful in the first few days---but well worth it I am sure---CIndy

Guest guest
Same thing happened to me. Fluid retention. You'll find out that one day not to far from now, you'll get on the scale and wham.... in a couple of days you'll loose 8 or 10 pounds. You will start loosing (at the begining) 2 to 3 lbs. a week. Don't worry, you'll loose it. I sometimes get desperate, I've lost 90 lbs. in 1 yr. I'm OK. wishing to go down to 150 instead of 170 like i'm now. But people tell me that I look good. We'll see. > Hi ---i had my rny done open two weeks ago today. I am on my feet and > feeling fine. The first 4 days I will admit were kind of rough.
