I had surgery two months ago and haven't had a problem with hair

loss...yet. What dosage of Biotin did you take? Is the pill small

enough to swallow or did you have to crush it?

I think it was 500 mg. It's a small pill like tylenol. But, I do

crush all pills still. or Place the pill in water til it turn into

sort of a wet powder. I'm very anal about the pills. Even the

capules, I open them up and mix it with water. I don't want my

little hole to be damaged. OH!!! Today is my one (1) year

anniversary. I'm doing fine. Went to doctor today PCP. to get

prescription for labs. He asked me...why are you here!! You look

real good. Despite that I was depressed because I've gained 2

pounds. He told me it was probably water retention. We'll see.

Biotin is a fairly small pill, I didnt have to crush it, but I didnt start

taking it until I was about 4 mos out. I think it erally does work I mean I

still was losing hair, but I think it would have been alot worse had i not

started

taking them. well best of luck. Sheryl
