Hello,

I am feeling really off track and out of control....and just trying to get my

bearings back again.

I'm two years post op from an open RNY. I started at 245 lbs and got down to

158 at my lowest. I lost the bulk of my weight the first 6 months and basically

just kind of maintained for the next year or so. Now I'm gaining.....( 10 lbs)

old habits creeping back in again (big surprise!) Not enough protein, not

enough water, not EVEN CLOSE TO ENOUGH exercise....and too many carbs! I don't

dump and always wish that I had....extra insurance you know (crutch!!).

Ok.....I've signed up at Curves and have just completed week one.....5 sessions.

I am enjoying it so far. So, step one is in play.....exercise!

What this long-winded post is going for here, is to ask all of you, what do you

eat/drink in a typical day? What works for you?

I find that a lot of people are doing the liquid protein shakes. I'm wondering,

if that is the bulk of your diet, or just supplementing real foods? I find that

the liquid way doesn't satisfy me very well and I don't last long. Maybe I'm

just doing it wrong.

Anyone who feels like it, and is having success with it, please give me an idea

of your typical day. I would appreciate it VERY much! :)

Thanks,

Vicki G.

Vicki,

I am having some of the same problems you are. The thing about

the protein drinks is that I can't do it for more then a couple of days.

If I do what works best for me, I do 2 or 3 protein drinks a day.

Congratulations on the exercise.
