Well, today is officially two weeks post-op. I am feeling better

than I ever thought I would at this time. I stay pretty sleepy and

take lots of naps. Most of the bruises are gone except for one

stubborn purple one under my chin. The swelling is mostly limited

to my lips and under my chin. I had mashed potatoes last night.

They tasted great. Although, when I say I had them, I actually ate

two whole tablespoons. So the Boost has to stay. I have lost 5

pounds since surgery but that doesn't seem to bad.

I sneezed for the first time today and thought, wow, that's an odd

feeling. But, it wasn't awful like I thought it would be. I go to

the OS for a checkup tomorrow. Hopefully he can cut a pesky wire

that is poking me in my back jaw. I think it's great since i can

actually feel it poking me!

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the support on this

website. It is been so helpful to me. It gives me a peace knowing

there are other people having the same difficulties as me and they

are surviving! Again, thanks to all of you and hope recovery is

going as well for you all.
