Guest guest
Hi Pam, I would not necessarily diagnose your behavior as a " serious eating disorder " . Many post ops fall into this dangerous behavior temporarily and pull out before they need professional help. On the other hand full blown Bulimia is quite serious. You may be somewhere inbetween but it would be important to talk to a qualified person in order to determine what kind of help you need if any. I do agree that it sounds like you are experimenting with a dangerous behavior and a good eating disorder therapist would be the right place to start to find out. You may only need a brief consultation or short term of treatment. It would be useful to work with someone who understands Bariatric surgery. If you need some good referral prospects let me know. I'll be away for Easter after noon today but if you let me know where yoiu are located and put " Carol, referral? " in the heading (so I don't accidentally dump the email) I'll check for you when I return next week and I'll try to get you some names. Good luck.
