Guest guest
The midline is the centermost line of your face where, if you were bisect your head laterally, you'd reach maximum symmetry. If you look at your teeth, the small space in between your two front teeth and your bottom teeth should correspond directly to the midline of your face. The midline is measured by calculating half the distance between the pupils of your eye. I hope I'm making sense. The holidays have my brain in a twizzle. > > can someone explain what the mid line is?

Guest guest
Thanks for the information.. I have a crossbite and it will be fixed when I have surgery Sadie Fran wrote: Hi there! Finally something I can help with! lol It is easiest to understand your general anatomical midline if you think of a piece of string going from the center of your skull running down to your feet. Think of it going from the side as well as from the front. The string will run in a fairly straight line for most people. Now it is probably easier to understand that you can also describe midline in reference to specific parts of the anatomy. It is usually a reference to how proximally or distally the body part is to that imaginary midline. I hope that helps. Fran DWILZEN wrote: can someone explain what the mid line is?
