Guest guest
Thanks for the replies. I have found the following link of facial proportions http://www.chinaugmentation.com/facial_formula.htm It seems that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder after all, or based on which formula one looks at. THere is so many " formulas " to see where the relationship of chin, nose, lip etc. is. Accordign to the link at least, the tip of the chin should not necessarily be at the tip of the lower lip but inside it, and the alignement seems to be with respect to the foreheard vertical line, not the nose slope mid point. I remeber my surgeon mentioned the link's formuls is the method he uses, but there is other proportion formulas out there. Anyway, I do think my chin is still kind of short, but I have been conscious about it for long so intuitiely my brain was to overcompensate I guess. I will wait and see how it heals up and settles, but if it's off by a couple of mm I doubt I will want to go through it again. In your case you mentioned you still need more than a cm to correct, so it was juistified to repeat. Hope your recovery is going well. My only issue is swallowing, still difficult. I am on milk shakes for the first 3 days. > > > > > > Just an update for those following my posts regarding my > recent > > > genioplasty.
