Guest guest
Merry Christmas to everyone here. You've all helped in different ways to make the last couple of weeks easier. As I still can't eat or talk easily (as in 'at all') it's going to be a different one for sure. I am having Lobster Soup for my Xmas Dinner. I am having a smoothie with mango for my breakfast. Egg nog whenever I fancy. And no Ensure or any product that ends with " ...ex " all day. I am hoping the sympathy vote leads to decent presents. And I am going to celebrate the one year where I don't end the day feeling as if I will burst with just one more Hershey kiss. In a more serious moment, I might reflect on the good friends i have got who have really pulled together, some of them flying over from britain to help since the op. On how I might be an even better friend to them. and I am going to spare a thought for people who deal with so much more than the temporary disability I am suffering from. My eyes have been opened here. It's a beautiful, if chilly day in NYC. I hope you all have a great one.
