Guest guest
Hello everyone. I haven't posted in a couple months...but I wanted to see if any August surgery buddies are still posting here. I am still amazed at how fast I recovered from upper and lower jaw surgery, genioplasty and nasal turbinectomies. i'd say i felt totally back to normal after about a month and a half. and now...i don't have really any reminders of the surgery except a couple small things. like my upper gums are still numb...but i don't even notice that. and my lower lip is just a tiny bit numb on the right side. but everyone has gone so well that i'm even getting my braces off a week from today. i got them on in march...so i've only had them like 9 months...and they were saying i'd be wearing them at least 18 months. i look back and remember being totally against the whole surgery thing. i was freaked out about it and was almost to the point of just living with my bite/facial profile the way it was. but i'm sooo thrilled with the results. a perfect bite...perfect smile...and a profile that is TONS more in proportion than before. anyone that has any doubts at all about havin this surgery...email me and i'd love to answer any kind of questions you have. i know for me...just getting my worries and questions answered was so much of a relief. if ya know what to expect...it's not nearly as scary.
