Guest guest Posted December 29, 2004 Report Share Posted December 29, 2004 , let me know how it is when you go back .i am a fifth grade teacher and had my surgery 6/25 so i went back to school on time. i still bit my tongue a lot and still don't feel like all speech is back to normal. i have a hard time transitioning into J's, C's and CH's sounds. i am still numb on left side of tongue among other areas. LEt me know how the teaching part goes for you. i will tell you this, kids are kids, people are people, they DO understand to some degree that you are still healing. i was just honest with my guys. > > > > I am three weeks and one day after upper, lower and genio.
