Anyone know anything about a book " How to Survive Orthognathic

Surgery " by Sach Silva? I found on Amazon, but also available at

http://www.orthognathic.com/

Inital thought is $64 is a bit steep for a 120 page paperback. But

then , given the cash I am puring into this what is another 64

bucks...especially if it is good info.

I'm scheduled 1/31.

It was discussed here at lenght several months ago and the conclusion

was that the information contained in the book can be obtained here,

for free. You simply have to ask questions, and you'll get more answers

than you can deal with (sort of!!)

Having bought it, I would agree with Ray's judgement.

The book from the Zip n Squeeze site I found much more helpful. And

VERY goos to give anyone looking after you. Because whilst you can

get all the information here, most often you might have communication

issues after surgery.

I would buy that. It looks like a recipe book but it has clear,

straightforward advice 9including a checklist to put on the fridge

door)

I was not able to find any evidence of it ever having been " on

Amazon " , that is, unless somebody floated it down the Amazon : )

There's plenty of free advice here, on the oss2 site (a smaller

version of this site) at

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/orthognathicsurgerysite2 and on

the geocities site at http://www.geocities.com/orthognathicinfo/
