Anyone have any popping noise?

Hi! I am three months post-op. When I yawn and stretch my mouth open

all the way there is a noise I can't quite describe in the top left

side of my mouth and I don't think its in the joint. It doesn't hurt

or anything I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this?

Was it normal?

Hey. Yeah...I'm about 4.5 months post op and I occasionally have

some kinda popping...actually more like a slight crackling sound when

i open my mouth really wide or yawn. Mine isn't at the joint

either...which seems kinda weird to me. But like you...it doesn't

hurt or bother me or anything...but I do notice it. I usually only

get it on my lower jaw...occasionally on top. But the only thing I

can think of is that it's maybe the plates or screws that are kinda

being strained or something. My OS said that the jaw will be

completely healed after 8 weeks...so after that the plates and screws

aren't really even needed. But I imagine that the bone is a little

more flexible than the titanium plates and screws...so that's the

only thing I can think of. That's another question I'm going to

bring up to my OS when I go for my progress check up on Monday.
