Hi,

I have an underbite that is just big enough that the surgeon could

either only advance my maxilla by 5-6 millimeters or reduce my

mandible likewise. I had a consultation a few days ago and the OS

said that he would rather advance my maxilla than mess with nerves in

my mandible. I was looking at my teeth and it struck me that they're

going to have to move it forward an awful lot to get it over my bottom

teeth. Has anyone been in a similar situation and only had a

maxillary advancement and how did you like the results?
