Guest guest
Terry, where do you get either of these product? I've heard of Better than Milk, but have never seen it in the stores. in NJ ********************** > I have the Thicken Thin also and love it in gravies and thicker soups, but never thought of using it when I make powdered sugar. I'll have to try that. What I've always done is use Better Than Milk in place of the corn starch and that works well. >

Guest guest
My husband found the Thicken Thin online somewhere, I think an Atkins site. I get the Better Than Milk and SugarLike from www.vitalady.com. I've used both the BTM & SugarLike in my baking and cooking for years now and they're great - terrific consistency and taste. I've only been using the Thicken Thin for a few months, but it really does a nice job for thickening sauces & soups & stuff (where you'd normally use flour or corn starch). My husband is eating low carb so I've been adapting my recipes that way. ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com® http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! ® Re: Powdered sugar substitute Terry, where do you get either of these product? Guest guest
Melt 'em face down. That's easy. OF course, melted, face up, eyeballs focused on me wouldn't tempt me. On squash? My litterboxes hold more appealing fare. And melted Peeps are the same as no Peeps at all to me. Once that sugar crunch is gone, poof, the spell is broken. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I'm sitting here picturing a buncha Peeps butts all lined up decoratively on top of a dish at a potluck dinner. lol. I told earlier that my husband said that we should bring them to a campfire this weekend to roast instead of marshmallows. I thought that might mess up the kids. ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com® http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! ® Re: Re: Powdered sugar substitute > Melt 'em face down.
