I too have been doing it for the past 5 months and have definitely noticed more toning in my abs section than others who have lost less weight than me. Although, given the amount of weight I have lost and the fact I have had 2 C-Sections, I probably won't be as lucky as you to avoid PS. But I can attest to the improvement due to pilates. It is a great strengthing and toning exercise and the movements are not that difficult as a rule. I also have the Windsor Pilates DVD but have not mastered the advance one yet. I am working up to it.
