If, a) as has been mentioned on the list previously, fiber " sweeps " everything out of the intestines, and is therefore not recommended 2b taken at the same time as supplements bcuz they might get " swept out " b4 they have a chance 2b absorbed, and if supplements are 2b taken with food to maximize absorption, and if c) you take these zetacaps right b4 eating a meal, then how would one schedule supplements if using this product? Guest guest
Personally, with a little tiny pouch that my insurance paid a lot of money for and that I work hard to preserve, I wouldn't touch this product with a 10-foot pole. If two capsules and 8 ounces of water stretch the stomach of a normal person to a feeling of fullness, I suspect that they could pop my staple line completely! As with all absorption limiters, if you had to use this product, I'd follow the two-hour rule. That seems the easiest for me to remember and it's probably usually accurate. If anyone gets brave and ponies up the money to try this Zetacap product, it would be interesting to hear your review of it here. The closest I've gotten to a weight-loss aid since surgery was Relora, which did seem to help me with carb craving. If you gave me sugar tablets (and/or made me pay a lot of money for them) and told me that they would reduce my carb cravings, I bet they would, because my carb problem is mostly in my BRAIN, not in my biochemistry, so I don't think my anecdotal experience is worth much here.
