Guest guest
Does anybody know of a way that we could write letters to service persons that we do not know, people who might otherwise not get any personal mail from home and whose spirits might be uplifted by a kind, caring handwritten note (and maybe a Detour bar or two)? --Steve At 12:08 PM -0800 3/21/03, Debbie McNeice wrote: >Was just wondering how our friends on the list with >partners/families/friends who are involved in what is going on in this world >are doing today? Guest guest
Steve, this is what I found. I know that they NO longer allow hand written letter to Any Service man etc... Like they used to. But I have a link to http://anyservicemember.navy.mil/ Even though it says navy.mil I gather you can send an email note to a member of any of the services. It is an interesting site. And I think I am going to try it. Guest guest
I haven't heard or read about any. However, Dear Abby almost always has something listed in the paper a couple of times a year. I certainly would be interested in doing this. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas CHF 4/14/01 479 lbs. SRVG 7/16/01 401 lbs.
