Guest guest
>> Ok i would never ever try that now, I can mess my pouch up without any help from anyone else, But Do any of you think it works? say for someone who didnt have the surgery say a normal stomach person? Well, I mentioned before that back in the early 80's, there was a product on a similar idea -- it was made of citrus fiber of some sort, and you'd take a couple caspules with an 8 ounce glass of water. I used it, and it worked great -- I was too full to eat. (I found it in grocery stores in Canada, but never saw it here in the US). I lost a good deal of weight in a very short time, and didn't suffer. Of course as soon as I got back to the States and couldn't find the product, I gained the weight back. HOWEVER, there were many, many times in my life that I would eat no matter how full I was, and it still happens from time to time when the insanity is at its worst. So it depends on the person. If someone overeats consistently because they really are hungry, this would probably help. But if they are prone to keep eating even if it hurts, this won't help them. I'm thinking it would be great if you were in a famine situation -- eat your ration of real food, and stay full the rest of the day on the capsules. But that's just the way my twisted mind works -- and I just got done watching Survivor! ~~ Lyn G
