I found this carb chart at Meals.com Daily Carbohydrate Budget To figure out how much carbohydrate you should eat, multiply your total calorie needs for the day by .55 (the average of 50%-60%). That gives you the number of carbohydrate calories you should eat. Divide those calories by 4 (1 gram carbohydrate = 4 calories) to determine how many grams of carbohydrate you need for the day. For example, 2,000 calories per day x .55 = 1,100 carbohydrate calories ÷ 4 = 275 grams of carbohydrate.. Calories Daily Carbohydrate Grams 1,200 165 1,500 206 1,800 248 2,000 275 2,400 330 3,000

Guest guest
I suspect this works really well for normies on a low-fat diet, but for me, if I eat over 100 grams of carbs a day, I just keep on gaining. ~~ Lyn G Calories Daily Carbohydrate Grams 1,200 165 1,500 206 1,800 248 2,000 275 2,400 330 3,000

But I know a few people in my surgeon's group who stick to about 20-30g a day. Heck, if I do my 4 protein shakes a day, I'm getting 24g right there!
