footsteps.

10. greatest challenge........not following in my mother's footsteps. Really

didn't realize how hard this would be

11. Your age at time of surgery?.........38

12. Any advice to others? (about 5 lines if you can manage)........Do your

Find a competent doc. Find a post-op program you can live with. Understand

beginning.

14. Your regimen of food and exercise? (Please summarize in a short

home on the treadmill or Gazelle over the weekend.

15. Which of these adjuncts do you use? (hypnosis, prayer, affirmations,

journal keeping, therapy, OA, meddies, etc.)...........Private psychotherapy

for a binge eating disorder I thought would magically go away after I had this

surgery. I log my daily food intake too, mostly for the why I eat, not the

what. I also take an antidepressant.

16. What is your daily vitamin and mineral supplementation?...........I use

the bariatric supplement systems formula. 2 multi vit caps in the morning (with

500 mg extra vit C and extra zinc in prep for repeat hernia repair in July) and

a SL B-12. 2 calcium-mag-D caps three times a day with meals.

BTW, thanks ceep for taking the time to compile this.
