Oh my God, this is like, my last year in review!!! And I thought I was the

only one. I have two sisters, one who has always been skinny as a rail, and

though i do realize this is a problem, it was always hard for me to

sympathize when she would complain about how hard it was for her to put

weight ON...and another sister who is normal size...well, i was NEVER invited

out with them when I was " fat " (what did they think, i was gonna order ALL

the food in the entire restaurant??) and i only saw them this past Christmas

for the first time since i became smaller than them....and the comments

shocked me, i mean, this was my " family " ....and now they wont be ashamed to

be seen with me, (their words) and now they " admit it " when someone asks if

we are sisters...i never knew before that they denied they were even related

to me...because of my size....like you i said nothing, dumbfounded. and after

giving it much thought i decided to keep things as they were, as i dont want

to admit that i am related to someone as narrow-minded as they, nor be

associated with anyone who will judge a whole person, by her size. it tells

more about who is doing the saying than what is actually being said, if you

understand....so i sit back and say nothing, and i dont miss what i never

had, which is sisterhood with these two women, i have forged a sisterhood

with other women, fat, thin, normal size, etc., based on our mutual respect,

affection, and love for eachother and the community. I am sure, , that

anyone who overheard your sister-in-law thinks less of her...than anything

she could have said about you, her neighbor, or the girl in her daughters

grade...You, on the other hand, showed alot of class by not responding.
