iron injections vs IV iron

I'm in pretty sad shape with my iron and probably looking at iron injections

or IV iron. Has anyone had experience with both (or either) that they can

share? I've heard some pretty bad stuff about how horrible the injections

are, but I've also heard that the IV is risky because some people have

deadly reactions to it.

Any info that anyone can share would be helpful.

If you want just iron supplementation, I recommend SOLGAR GENTLE IRON

KOSHER 180 VEGICAPS at

http://www.vitacost.com/Store/products/Products.cfm?SubCategoryID=3356 & dropdown1\

=product

The product has Iron (as iron bisglycinate). Iron bisglycinate is

Albion Labs trade name for iron amino acid chelate, which is most

absorbable form of iron supplementation. It is used in prenatal

vitamins because it is so easy to transport it to the fetus. It will

not interfere with calcium absorption.
