Guest guest
Fopr 5 weeks, I drank these: http://www.beyondmuscle.com/eas-myoplex-42.html The chocolate was blended with a banana and peanutbutter -- my favorite. I would blend a banana or blueberries with the Vanilla. And I would get strawberries or a banana and blend with the strawberry. Alone, they have 270 calories and 42g of protein. You can use milk to up the calories and protein, and you get addition calories from the banana/blueberries/etc... And at a little more than a dollar a package, they are realy economical! -Blake > > Here is something that tastes decent, keeps me full and energetic > without feeling bloated: > 1 packet chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast(the one labeled Carb > Conscious); > 8OZ 2% milk > 1 level scoop Any Whey Protein Powder(virtually tasteless)by Optimum > Nutrition > In a glass, fold in the Carnation and the protein powder, then add > milk and stir well. Guest guest
I'm curious -- how can it contain whey and be lactose-free? In my experience, whey is an extremely concentrated form of lactose. Can you offer any more info? (I always go for soy protein, myself.) Guest guest
I thought it was, maybe because it is the only thing that doesn't make my stomach talk afterwards!....I will have to go home and re- read the label, then. If it is not lactose-free, I apologize. It's still good tho! > > > > Here is something that tastes decent, keeps me full and energetic > > without feeling bloated: > > 1 packet chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast(the one labeled Carb > > Conscious); > > 8OZ 2% milk > > 1 level scoop Any Whey Protein Powder(virtually tasteless)by Optimum > > Nutrition > > In a glass, fold in the Carnation and the protein powder, then add > > milk and stir well. Guest guest
I found out...whey protein isolate is the purest form of whey protein, and as such has little to no lactose or cholesterol. You might find this info in GNC or if you do an engine search.
