Guest guest
Carol We are praying for you and your husband. Just wanted to let you know that, in my humble opinion, you ARE better than 1.5 years ago because you recognize what is happening. Be kind to yourself. Food serves a purpose and even people who are not obese turn to food for comfort. You are not a failure. You are a major success. Hugs, Pat B. failing miserably Stopped home for a shower and to change. My 48 yr old husband was rushed to the hospital last night with atrial fibrillation after passing out on our kitchen floor. We were up all night in CCIU while he got testing. Every chance I got I ate in a listless stupor with no thought for what or where...cookies, chocolate, pretzels, frozen yogurt, alittle here and alittle there just eating aimlessly each time he was taken down for another test...add to that a ton of caffeine that has put me in some sort of twilight as I head back to the hospital. Just when I thought I had a handle on how to maintain and not turn to food as a crutch a crisis comes along and proves me no better then I was 1.5 yrs ago. It is so depressing and I hate myself for doing this. If any of you are prayer warriors out there, we sure do covet your prayers. needs to snap back into a normal rhythm and we need to figure out why he snapped out of it. Thanks, Carol G.
