Guest guest
Great Tale!! (and that's probably what you hear now from behind you!!) I think the expectations are probably the worst part of something as alien as the gym after having been a sedentary type for much too long. But, these folks want you...they do want your money, but you become part of the facility after a while. I didn't feel exactly comfortable leaving one gym after four years to go someplace else, but I'm sure in what I need now...and the former spot was considerably more expensive and less fitness oriented as much as it was a hangout for some folks. I do remember those aching muscles and I may saunter in looking for trouble, but I normally stagger out just looking for my car.<G> It's just part of the almost daily routine now and when and I go traveling, I look into the WWW for the hotel gym facilities in making my selection. Some of those gyms are underused....and then there are some not worth using.<G> I did go to a week seminar in Madison, Wi. in which the hotel had free fare and pass to and from a huge fitness center across from the capital. So, it's hard to miss a day...especially when traveling and having to adjust to eating what's available.
