Guest guest
I was not wired... But the traditional wisdom is that you just let it flow. If you have done as instructed, there's nothing but liquid to come up and out, and you will have no trouble getting rid of it. Guest guest
I threw up in the hospital when i was in the recovery after they took up my stomach tube. I will admit, it definitely scared me! But the nurse was really great...she talked me through it and I didn't choke or anything. But it's bound to happen to everyone...and so it's nice to just get it overwith..and they always have anti-nausea medicine to put in your IV. Guest guest
My 1st trip to the potty made me nauseous and while I was sitting there, I grabbed the garbage can and it was coming weather I liked it or not and it just flowed right out between my teeth and side of my teeth. Absolutely no problem and I felt 100% better afterwards.-- - In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " alex boyd " <alexboyd25@h...> wrote: > has that ever happened to any of you. what do you do? > > > >From: ceast36532 <no_reply > > >Reply-To: orthognathicsurgerysupport > >To: orthognathicsurgerysupport > >Subject: [Orthognathic Surgery Support ] Re: liquid antibiotics... > >Date: Sat, 14 Aug 2004 19:53:05 -0000 > > > >Oh, yeah... Guest guest
I was not wired. But reliable reports say that -- assuming you've done as instructed -- all you have inside is liquid. And it comes right out through the teeth. Honey, read a bit on the sites... This has been asked and answered many times... Guest guest
Ummm. Nope. Not bound to happen to everyone. Didn't happen to me. But then that was my lucky day, as I've said before. Doesn't mean that up-chucking is awful. But you need not expect it to happen, either... Guest guest
Hey there, after my upper jaw surgery, I threw up 5 times in the hospital while my jaw was wired shut. As gross as it sounds, just try to open your mouth as much as you can while being able to tolerate it and let it just sorta flow out. Worst comes to worse, it'll go between any gaps in your teeth. (I know! Really gross!) As for the pink antibiotics, I actually didn't find them that bad, but I did have a problem with mashing up and taking the pills, I'm sure you could use the same method I used for that, mix it in a saringe with apple juice and it'll mask the flavour (and give you a little Vitamin C!) Good luck with recovery, I hope everything works out well for you. Best Wishes; ~~ --- ceast36532 <no_reply > wrote: > Ummm. Nope. Not bound to happen to everyone. Didn't > happen to me.
