I looked at your photos and your OS did a great job on your profile,

but I see what you are talking about with the assymetry.

My entire surgery was to correct a crooked face and all the problems

that went with it. It is really amazing how pictures magnify it.

I'm sorry your OS didn't catch it cause he should have and the

freebie is probably because he knows it.

I know it is disappointing to not get the results you are hoping for

after all you have been though. I hope your implant works because

it will take upper and lower jaw surgery to repair your symetry

problem.

I think I would get a second opinion regarding the effectiveness of

the implant.

Good luck.

Hi ,

I see what you mean as far as the asymetry of the chin goes. Mine is

the same way. And my doc also wants to wait a while still until the

ortho is complete. And my doc didn't mess anything up with me, but

he also said if I pay for the implant he will wave his surgery fee.

What type of implant did he mention. Mine will be custom made from a

CT done of the jaw. It will be made of a coral type of product. I

can get you the real name of the product it you want it.

a, i would love the real name of the product. my os did not

speak of what type of implant and he did not discuss specifics, i

think because we would not be considering it for a while. did you

read a previous note that was a reply to my original? the person

kind of scared me. i can agree with the second opinion, yes i agree

that my surgeon should have caught it, but like me who has lived

with my face for 40 years, i did not even notice it! i get a little

nervous wondering what the NEXT LOOK will look like after an

implant. Can you get a projection? katie
