Guest guest
Hi Tracee, I started the day of surgery and I guess from trauma to the body from surgery I only ended up spoptting, maybe nerves, who knows, but those nurses had to check for me anyways. I just had to keep in mind that they have seen it all and not be embarassed. You will be fine, bring your own pads that you like and thank God you have hubby to help too. good Luck to you, God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
Hi Tracee... MANY women have the surgery while on their period...Others even if not that time, get it a couple days later. They say its due to the trauma of the surgery. Just make sure you let the nurses know upon arrival and they will take care of you. Good Luck with your surgery. Guest guest
Tracee, Most women have to deal with this issue whether it's their time of the month or not. It's a very traumatic and stressful thing that happens to your body and your cycle reacts as it would under any type of stressful situation. Take your pads with you and don't worry about it. I was in the beginning stages of my cycle when I had my surgery and they nurses and doctors were very cool about it. Good luck! T. Guest guest
Hi Tracee, First of all welcome to the family! To answer your question, dont worry about it. Some of us (not all) started right after. The surgery brings it on. Pamela 11/19/02 160 lbs gone!! Guest guest
Go to your GNY and he will be able to give an injection where your menstruation will be right away. A friend of mine did it. Yes the operation will bring it on. No big deal but, if you go to your gynecologist he will be able to help you. -- In Gastric_Bypass_Family , " Tracee " <tracee@z...> wrote: > I hope this doesn't ruffle anyones feather's... > > I'm new here...and will intro myself later in the day.
