Guest guest
Amy, I was 29 when I had the surgery, and I have two young children 8 and 4, I needed help with my son for the first couple of days, with making his meals and of course bathing and such. I would recommend that you have someone to help you for the first week or so. You will be tired, your body is recovering from major surgery and it is the little things that people do to help...By week two I was feeling pretty good and could do the things my son needed. It is also important to have someone around because my doctor would not let me drive for two weeks after surgery and housework was not allowed during that time(this is just my doc, though)...I have to say all the help I did get helped me recover faster. Guest guest
After my C-sections they gave me heparin (i think that's how you spell it) shots. I was told that was to keep me from getting blood clots. The surgeons office also said that they are gonna take me off birth control pills for 6 weeks before surgery. Has anyone ever heard of that?? I don't know if I can keep off the hubby for that long! LOL in Mi 320 Pre-Op
