Thanks so much for taking the time to share! I had no idea i would

get such comfort from one going through the same thing as me at the

same time! I've been reading this board for almost a year, I always

knew it was good for me, but never more than now!

I hope I get to see an x-ray tomorrow. A copy to take along would be

great too! I'll have to ask my surgeon.

I had upper only, so have been brushing the front sides of my lower

teeth since day 3. Surgeon didn't say I couldn't, so I figure its ok.

I'm very careful about it, and haven't caused any bleeding or

anything. Although the insides of my teeth are starting to feel

pretty scummy. I'm hoping he'll either take the bands off and let me

brush before he puts them back on, or let me take them off to do the

same on my own. The roof of my mouth and my nose, and almost up to my

eyes are still completely numb...what an interesting sensation.

I've been doing a lot of blending. I feel like you know you have it

bad when you have to blend and strain cream of broccoli soup before

you eat it! Who does this stuff? What we're going through is no good

thing, that's for sure, but I'm sure our outcomes will make it all

worth it in the end.

Sorry to hear about the allergic reaction! We certainly don't need

anything else causing our faces to swell at this point! Hopefully you

figure out what caused it so it goes away quickly!

Anyway, back to the books for a couple hours before bed. I'll let you

know how my appointment goes tomorrow!

Take care,
