Guest guest
That's odd that a surgeon would do surgery on a 16 year old BOY, since boys don't stop growing until they are 19-ish. For girls, 15 is alright.. I'm 16 but I won't be having my surgery until I am nearly 18. Hmm, I don't know about underbite coming back though.. it just seems.. early. > > If I get this surgery now, is there a chance that my underbite could > come back due to bone growth later on? > > Conner

Guest guest
Well, it is not 100% that I will be having the surgery now. I only spoke to a dentist and my parents so far. I still need to ask an oral surgeon. > > > > If I get this surgery now, is there a chance that my underbite could > > come back due to bone growth later on? > > > > Conner

Guest guest
Yes. But ask your putative surgeon for more details about this. And ask a second one, too.
