Hey everybody! I'm now almost 2 months post-op and have some

questions. Could anyone who had surgery to correct an open bite tell

me how long it takes for your teeth to completely settle into place?

My teeth on the right side touch, and the left side is very close,

but not quite touching. My bite is much better and I no longer

clench and grind my teeth at night! I just stopped wearing my bands

and my orthodontist put normal elastics back on my braces. I'm

afraid my bite won't completely close without the bands though. Can

anyone relate? Thanks!

BTW, I updated my pictures so you can see the improvement in my bite

if you want to check them out @ http://web.csuchico.edu/~nb71/jaw%

20surgery.htm or on this webpage under .
