Sugery postponed/Barrett's esophagus-Could use hugs

Hi All

The results of my endoscopy showed some problems with my esphohagus,

somy surgery is postponed. I have something called Barrett's

esophagus and relly bad GERD. I have to take double Prevacid for

three months and repeat the endo. The Barrett's is a forever thing,

but they need to get a clear read on whether I have pre-cancerous

cells or not. They can't now because the inflamation is so bad. If

I have pre-cancerous cells, no surgery.

I a sooo upset. My original date was March 12, less than a month

away.

I know it's all for the best, but it is really hard to take. If

anyone has had a similar experience, I would appreciate hearing from

you.

In general, I could use some hugs
