Guest guest
Kate's Sister was watching Ophra's show this week. The show included testimonials on a " miracle drug " which restored mobility on totally handicapped patients. Does anyone know anything about the drug; more, important, does it offer hope for MSA patients? Bill in LA

Guest guest
Dear Pammoroso, In response to your e-mail, my father (age 76 with PAF+ probably developing into MSA/Parkinsonism) is part of the clinical trials of Dr. Goldstein at NIH. He is brilliant and very warm and kind. He is one of the top doctors on PAF, MSA, etc. in the U.S. Although he is not a treating physician, he and his staff and nurses give good, practical advice. I highly recommend joining his clinical trials. He also wrote an excellent short book on dysautonomia which is clear and concise. It can be purchased through the NDRF website. I hope this is helpful.
