Five days after surgery

All,

I just had my upper jaw advancement on Thursday and all is as

well as it can be. Luckily my bite falls right into the splint, so

I don't even need rubberbands. The swelling has been really

moderate, and the numbness in the lips and front of my face has

stayed the same since the surgery. I am keeping a positive mental

attitude. I don't have much else to tell, but to say that the

surgery went really well, and recovery looks good. I guess you can

chalk it up as one of the good ones, since I know there are a few

horror stories here. I wish others all the best of luck!

attitude will take you a long way.
