Guest guest
Sherry, I can't blame you. If I had any other options I would NOT have gone for the knee replacements. They are REALLY HARD to recover from! The physical therapy is HORRENDOUS! I had so much damage that my muscles and tendons had all atrophied and so the recovery was even MORE difficult. BUT....my wheel chair sits in the garage collecting dust and getting used by my step-son when he breaks something or has surgery on his feet. I too have needed knee replacements for years but refuse to have them at 51..in fact---I don't ever want them if at all possible. Guest guest
Debbie Good for you girl. Your SURVIVED and have gone beyond the knee surgery. I am such a chicken about having it. I hope never to. Be sure and try water exercise as a continued effort about your knees--you won't be sorry. Sherry BLUZGAL REMEMBER---LIFE IS A JOURNEY--NOT A DESTINATION! Guest guest
I have to say, without the RNY, without the knee surgeries....I would not be where I am now. Able to do things I have ONLY dreamed about. You know, I am rarely serious, but today I fulfilled a dream. I took my little Boston Terrier girl into a show ring and she and I went Best of Breed today. Four years ago, I would not have been able to walk around the show ring, never mind put out the effort to train the dog before hand! It was an incredible high.
