Guest guest
-Hi MIchelle, Thankyou. October 12th not long. Are you getting excited? Its really hard having to wait soooooo long, but making that step to the other side is totally worth it! I waited about 5 years for my surgery i was so excited when it came to the big day i was urging my surgeon to get me into theatre. I think he may have been a little suprised at how excited i was! i couldnt wait, its the best feeling ever! in my experience anyway. Good luck for the surgery, you will be fine i am sure. Will look forward to seeing some photos of your new smile too.... Guest guest
Thanks for the words of encouragment. I just found out thursday, that I only need upper surgery and not both. What a huge relief that it won't be such a huge recovery now. He said he will only have to move my upper jaw up 8mm and thats it. My choice later if I want to do genioplasty at a later date if I am not happy with my chin. He said it might be a little recessed, but not enough to warrent lower surgery. Also I will only be lightly rubberbanded and can start eating soft foods on the second week. -- In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " martynwarwick " <martynwarwick@m...> wrote: > -Hi MIchelle, > > Thankyou.
